"I sold cancer drugs for 11 years. I made $340,000 a year convincing doctors to prescribe treatments I knew didn't work. Then one night, I saw the list. And I understood everything."

I was a senior sales representative for one of the top three pharmaceutical companies in the world. I won't name them yet. My lawyers are still working on my protection agreement under the Executive Order.

My job was simple: visit oncologists, buy them dinners, take them to conferences, and make sure they prescribed our chemotherapy drugs over the competitors. I was good at it. Top 1% nationally for seven consecutive years.

I never questioned it. The drugs had FDA approval. The doctors trusted me. The patients trusted them. The system worked — for everyone except the patients.

In November 2024, I was at a private dinner in Manhattan with three executives from my company. We had closed a $1.2 billion hospital network contract. Champagne. Cigars. The usual.

One of the executives left his phone on the table when he went to the bathroom. A notification popped up. It was an encrypted message. The preview read:

"Updated K-List attached. 2,847 names added this quarter. Confirm receipt."

I didn't touch the phone. But I remembered the term. K-List.

Over the next three months, I quietly asked around. Most people had never heard of it. But one senior colleague — a man who had been with the company for 30 years — went pale when I mentioned it.

He pulled me into a stairwell and said:

"The K-List is the kill list. It's every patient whose insurance profile makes them more profitable dead than alive. Long-term treatment patients who are about to hit their coverage cap. If they die before the cap, the company collects the full treatment cycle payment. If they live past it, the insurance stops paying and we lose money."

I said: "Are you telling me we let people die for billing optimization?"

He said: "We don't let them die. We make sure the treatment doesn't work well enough to save them. The dosing protocols are calibrated. Not to kill. Just to not cure."

I went home that night and threw up for an hour.

2,847 names added in one quarter. Four quarters a year. For how many years?

The math is simple. And the math is murder.

I resigned in January 2025. I took nothing with me except what I remembered. But when Executive Order 2026-1947 was signed, I contacted a lawyer. The NDA protections are dissolving. The whistleblower provisions are active.

I am one of dozens preparing to testify.

The pharmaceutical industry doesn't just suppress cures. It engineers death on a schedule. And every single executive knows it.

Last week, while visiting Idaho, a man was in front of me. I am not a tall woman, but I towered over him as he placed three Modelos on the checkout counter.

That^ is Washington State Ferries Executive Director Steve Nevey, talking about the critical state our ferry system is in due to a lack of boats.
But while we wait 5 years for Florida to build the first of our new ferry boats, let's take a look at how we got here...

In the early 2010s, the legislature approved funding for x4 Olympic Class ferries, which were all built here in Seattle at Vigor's shipyard on Harbor Island, by 2018.
Around this time, the legislature approved funding for x5 more diesel powered Olympic Class ferries. Then came Governor Inslee's infamous Executive Order 18-01.

Executive Order 18-01 “begins the transition to a zero-carbon-emission ferry fleet, including the accelerated adoption of both ferry electrification and operational improvements that will conserve energy and cut fuel use.”

In layman's terms; the ferries could no longer be straight diesel.
Still, Vigor pivoted and planned on constructing the first new hybrid electric ferry by 2023, with the 5th boat by 2028. Then came the cost estimate debacle.

Vigor pushed back on the estimated cost of the new ferry design (cost estimates were exponentially more expensive than diesel designs and what the state had budgeted) and the end result was them backing out of the x5 ferry contract altogether.
This is 2022.

In 2023, Vigor began retrofitting the ferry Wenatchee for its new hybrid propulsion system. This pulled the largest boat in the fleet out of the water for a planned 12 months...that turned into nearly 2 years, followed by months of breakdowns afterwards.
The conversion was such a failure that Governor Bob Ferguson put the other planned conversions on hold indefinitely.

At the same time this is all happening; the legislature reset and approved funding for x3 new hybrid electric ferries in place of the x5 that never got built. Requests for bids went out and only two shipyards even bothered bidding;
Nichols Brothers here in WA and Eastern Shipyard in Florida.

Eastern Shipyard bid about $715 Million for all 3 ferries.
Nichols Brothers, which is subjected to WA's union labor laws around shipbuilding, came in at a whopping $1 Billion plus. Even with WA's 13% in state preference credit, the bid was too much. There is a great King 5 segment if you want more details on this.

Governor Bob Ferguson selected the shipyard in Florida to build the 3 boats, with the first one expected in the early 2030's.

And that folks, is why your wait for the ferry can stretch for hours on the weekends.
All because former Governor Jay Inslee blew up our ferry system with a single executive order in 2019.

Budget Cuts Threaten Wildfire Prevention Efforts in Washington

Washington State lawmakers reduced the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) forest health and fuel reduction/resiliency funding by about 80% in the 2025-2027 operating budget, from roughly $6 million for the biennium (around $3 million per year) to $1.2 million ($600,000 per year). The agency’s request to restore funding (seeking an additional $2.4 million) was not funded in the final 2026 supplemental operating budget.

Official WDFW materials and fact sheets document the cut: the enacted 2025-2027 budget dropped the program from prior levels near $6 million per biennium (with some variation in earlier biennia and a 2024 supplemental) down to $1.2 million.

This was described as an 80% reduction, expected to sharply limit thinning, prescribed burning, and related treatments on WDFW-managed lands, reduce treated acres (e.g., projections of far fewer than prior targets), eliminate or cut prescribed burn crew capacity, and increase wildfire risk near communities.

WDFW’s 2026 legislative budget page explicitly notes the reduction from $6 million to $1.2 million and states that the restoration request “is not funded in the final budget.” Contemporary reporting (including a June 2026 KHQ article) uses nearly identical language to the query about the 80% cut from $3 million a year to $600,000 and the lack of restoration in the 2026 session. Later agency updates also reference significantly reduced funding for forest thinning and prescribed burns as a result of the cuts.

This was part of broader 2025 budget reductions amid a large state shortfall; separate larger cuts affected DNR’s Wildfire Response, Forest Restoration, and Community Resilience Account (later partly addressed in 2026 for DNR, but not restoring the specific WDFW forest health line to prior levels). WDFW has indicated the reduced pace of treatments will slow work that helps lower wildfire intensity and support habitat.

My deepest sympathies to the folks in Spokane who just lost everything in an instant. *As of now*, I've not seen any reports of fatalities, thank God, and I pray they were none, but a lot of beloved pets undoubtedly perished, and for many, that's like losing family.

Nothing can really prepare you for this devastation, and I wish I could tell you it'll get better, but it won't for a long time.

Please look after your neighbors; they have a very long and painful road ahead, and everyone will move on from caring about Spokane in a week or so. And everyone else, take heed...this is coming for you, too. Don't wait til the fire is at your patio door.

Have a plan. Don't expect government to be there to save your home. And don't expect the fire to wait until you're at home and awake and ready...think about what happens when the fire comes at 2AM dead asleep, or when you're at work downtown, or 3 beers in on a river float 20 miles from home and your cats are all locked inside. You seldom get a real warning before the fire comes.

Above all else, if I can offer any advice right now...lean further into God. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Have faith in His providence, even if your heart feels too broken to accept it right now.

Bret Weinstein just revealed that a 2012 law quietly dismantled the Bill of Rights.

And almost no one noticed.

“All the rights in the Bill of Rights became privileges the day that Barack Obama signed NDAA 2012.”

And a federal court ruling later decided that we don’t even know how many people have been legally disappeared under that law.

Why is that important?

An activist group was given $500,000 in taxpayer dollars from the Climate Commitment Act, who turned around and produced anti-farming propaganda videos with it. They also wrongfully used the WA Department of Health logo while doing so.

The WA DOH was notified and told farmers that they 'confirmed the logo was removed from the impacted videos.'

That turned out to be a lie.

Now under immense blowback from farmers, the DOH is scrambling to try and force the activist group to remove the logo, with no success so far.

Save Family Farming Executive Director Ben Tindall has some opinions about this whole thing, telling Center Square;
"Taxpayers should be outraged that Climate Commitment Act dollars are being used to produce anti-farming propaganda, without any accountability from state agencies doling out the grant money."

Governor Bob Ferguson is (quietly) working to remove the Snake River dams and the clean, renewable, hydro-electric power they provide.

After the years of fights back and forth between ideologues and realists, the federal government telling WA state 'no', and even our own Senator Patty Murray admitting that taking down the dams is a bad idea...

Governor Ferguson's Dept of Commerce has put out a request for proposals on how the state would replace the electricity generated by the 4 dams, that currently power about 800,000 homes.

Former Gov. Gary Locke said Washington voters should focus on how a proposed millionaire's tax would be spent rather than simply whether it passes.

Locke said the state is already facing a budget shortfall and says the new tax alone would not generate enough revenue to cover both existing obligations and proposed new programs.

He questioned whether lawmakers would ultimately need to raise additional taxes or reduce spending if projected revenues fall short.

Locke said the long-term funding plan should be clear before the state commits to new spending promises.
