When 2/3 phases are really bad and the other is borderline bad, you aren’t going to win many games. You have to really question how team was built in off-season. Unfortunate for Amar, deserves better for what he provides for team.

@bigambitionzAT @ThomasDrance There are about 1000 combinations in nhl draft. SJ had best odds in Celebrini draft. So about 190 or so combo numbers, but 810 for other teams. They were lucky.

@BCLions What about that single point that was conceded for the missed field goal. Shouldn’t they let the ball bounce and see if it goes out of bounds? Never know, but that point may have cost them chance to kick field goal to tie the game.

@ThomasDrance @nytimes Lot on the plate now, they need to prioritize and just work thru the list. Don’t go by what media think that the pace should be. One thing I do like is not much is leaking, so they seem to have tighten the ship from that aspect.

@DhaliwalSports Took a look at the top ncaa free signings for past 10 years and to say any became solid NHL players is underwhelming. Surprisingly, Richmond’s Troy Stecher was one of the good ones..

@Devin_Heroux Tho 8, technically, it’s 6 as the 2 defencemen replacing the 2 coming off are not part of the play and is considered valid. It’s the 6 players when Canada had puck in offensive zone the most blatant and missed call.

@imacSportsnet Something is different. They are moving the puck quickly so it looks like they are skating faster. Perhaps extra days for practice is helping. Having Demko back in form doesn’t hurt either.
