Huge scoop here: Amazon pressured the USPS to install a private mailbox at its facility so they could pressure workers to bring their ballots to work, enabling them to monitor for no votes. This election is tainted and these executives should be investigated
I don't tweet very often, and usually just use Twitter as my outlet for nsff commentary. But goddamnit my wife is a force! I just have to brag for a few characters. She is the best teacher I know, an amazing mom, a small business owner and a queen. I'm so lucky she loves me!
I find it obscene that a Congress full of millionaires (funded by billionaires) is trying to means test the difference between $50,000 and $75,000 for a life-saving survival check during a pandemic. We need more working people in our government.
There’s a history of invoking “law and order” only to suppress peaceful calls for Black liberation. The military used tear gas to disperse peaceful BLM protesters, yet when a mob of white supremacists storm the Capital, they are merely escorted away. I ask, Law and Order for who?
A great man passed away. His project called for solidarity. A shithead called him a hack and argued against him. I'm so conflicted. I've engaged and tried to persuade the shithead. Is engagement or rejection more respectful to his memory and project for real change? @MattLech
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim This doesn't really disprove my point for energy directive. We need to fuel the base! If the base can't overwhelm billionaires in California, then we'll never win. If you are correct that a revolution-willing base is massive, then why did Feinstein win against a progressive?
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim Dems messaging is designed to suppress the left and appeal to moderate conservatives. If history is any guide, allowing their messaging to win won't fuel the base, it will suppress it..
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim Now that's an interesting take. I'm going to argue against, but not in an ad hominem way. Too many people respond to power: Read liberal newfound love for Biden despite his victory being hate for Trump. Repubs understand this, so they fuel their base through messaging.
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim Sure, sure. But you said take AOC out of office as the schill. I'm all for removing Pelosi! I'd prefer her to a Matt Gaetz as Speaker, to be totally honest. So I get the delicate situation someone like AOC is in, but I also wish DEEPLY that the groundswell of momentum for M4A
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim I full throatedly agree with this! We need a revolution of regular people against the powers that be to recreate our country with a more equal economy and more transparent politic that embraces all levels of democracy! So what is the strategy for getting there?
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim I called my rep to express my dislike of Pelosi and asked her to make her vote conditional on a reallocation of military funds. Tbh, I feel that the death of M4A in the house right now would swallow a lot of the ground momentum for it..
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim Fair enough. I don't frequent Twitter like I used to either. Might I ask, have you called your own representative and asked them to make the same bargain? And I don't mean that to be confrontational, I'm just curious.
@DefaultCPI @nickmckitick@BenBurgis@briebriejoy@ryangrim Fair enough. And what is your political project that can topple such a structure without sending agents behind enemy lines to destabilize it from within? And I hope you will take this part seriously: I am now officially committed to hearing you out.
