@MarkHuntington5 Hope for best but learnt to expect the worst with Nargle now mark. One thing is for sure he never learns. Strange for such a savvy businessman
Back from summer hiatus to offer few comments on latest man given hot seat. Whilst football under drury was stark improvement on the dross before him ultimately those running club have done it on the cheap & rewarded failure again with Drury and co who failed to reach playoffs...
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Drury as Head Coach of the Men’s First Team.

How hard is it to go out&get someone with a promotion on their CV?drury has only ever been a coach.Just like Grant. It one thing that sorry bunch of shite playing for him when they thought he was just a stop gap but my head says they will turn on him at 1st opportunity. Worrying!
No mention of contract length either but I really hope Drury does well though as we actually saw a bit of something we could get behind as fans. My worry is we take a few beatings then start turning out a load of defensive crap, like what seems to happen to everyone else.
@PolskiHipis@htafc@sbk Not saying there isn't a place for him within the club what I am saying is we need a football person at the top with a clear vision and a clear idea of how to achieve it
Zen of negativity here wondering if Rhys Healey & Mikel miller will get another club hoping to be in prem within 3 years. Anyway that's me logging off twitter until the new season. Have a great summer everyone connected with HTAFC 👍🏼
Quite clearly an agenda within the PGMOL @FA led by the porky salad dodger Jon Fat bastard Moss ever since playoff final and subsequent abuse towards his record shop in Leeds. I'm convinced he will be encouraging his cronies via WhatsApp & such like to do us over. Fat bastard
A word on Doug King 🙌
Paid £50m for the club.
Reinvested the Viktor Gyokeres and Gus Hamer money back into the squad.
Big call in sacking Mark Robins and hiring Frank Lampard.
Bought the CBS Arena so the club had its own stadium for the first time since 2005.
A brilliant owner who had just about got everything right.
@Ned_Zep The football has been an unmitigated disaster under Edwards. I cannot think of a single decision he's got right which includes managers and players
Only positive is the stadium acquisition which was probably more Kevin as driving force
Look at Lincoln and the sort of budget they are operating on and the results they are achieving. It needs stripping right back. Bring in a CEO with a track record of building a club up from the bottom, let him appoint his DOF, head coach, analysts, medical staff, physios, kit man
After a three-year term as Chief Executive Officer of Huddersfield Town, Jake Edwards has today departed his role by mutual agreement.
