I am currently reading 'TheDwarves' by Markus Heitz (German), translated by Sally-Ann Spencer (British) and published by @orbitbooks a British publishing company. Can somebody please explain why it uses US English spellings?
@pedalmeapp My mistake, it appears that posts are visible to anyone so you should be able to follow the arguments here. It's all the usual 'Can't do that with a bike etc.' so you might not want to bother.
Wes Streeting thinks privatisation is the solution to the NHS.
Like if you know it isn't.
RT if we need a fully nationalised, fully funded, staff properly paid NHS
When Junior Doctors are on £16 an hour and MP's are on £46 an hour.
And raising the Junior Doctors pay by £4 an hour is unaffordable, even though they just raised MP's pay by £5 an hour.
It's hard not to see the lie.
RT if Junior Doctors NEED paying.
I had a pleasant message from my grandson saying he had read a copy of a book I wrote for my granddaughter and he had enjoyed it. He then went on to add a request - would I write another book with him as the lead character. What have I got myself into?
If you disagree with the Daily Express that “a majority of Brits” now support leaving the European Convention on Human Rights RT this as widely as you can

I am currently reading a book by British author @cstross . The story is set in Britain. Why then did somebody think it was a Good Idea to run the text through a US spell checker before publication?
The beautiful and not so beautiful sides of @RHSWisley. The Department for Making Roads Bigger has been cutting down trees and generally messing up the area all in the name of 'Improving Your Journey'. I don't see how ripping up the place I am visiting is improving my journey.
There has been a surge in patients paying for GP appointments, with one private healthcare provider seeing a 46% increase in demand
This is exactly what the Conservatives want
But healthcare should be about people, not profit - RT if you agree

We've just been round the roundabout at Junction 10 of the M25. I am unsure as to what the Highways planners actually hope to achieve, but the b'stards have totally devastated the area in the name of 'Progress'. All those lovely trees, gone!
