A year ago today, I was waiting to be seen by a mental health professional in A&E because I didn't see the point in living anymore.

This afternoon, I'm looking forward to chilling & learning more about penguins, otters & the Renaissance. I have finally solo travelled to France!

It has been a while since I've aimed for a particular form for a poem - here is a ballade I wrote last week. I didn't stick to all the 'rules', hence "Loose" in the title, also alluding to the phrase "loose change".

As of this evening, I am officially confirmed autistic- now I know why I struggle to follow films, and have tactile & sensory obsessions. Also, apparently not knowing how to respond apart from "ah right", "oh okay" is an autistic thing... :D

@hpriest_slt ...whether I was in the right degree. Really I was trying to take on something far too specific and serious for this time in my life. I was actually going to apply for a different degree to start in UEA in 2023, but I just need to keep my mind off studies altogether rn!
