Special thanks to Braedon Berard and Chad Hazelwood and all other Tiger Den members who provided the post game meal for both teams after our spring scrimmage with Westminster Christian yesterday. Also want to thank all of the college coaches who took the time to attend!
We’ve had a coach from every one of our state universities come through our school over the last couple of weeks, and I’m proud to say that Christopher Jones has received his first official offer (pretty sure more are coming) from Grambling State. Congratulations, Chris!
Made a pretty productive trip yesterday. Most of the fish were suspended in 3-5 feet of water. Caught a couple of singles holding tight to stumps and a couple roaming in open water. Caught them on glow pop crappie magnet on a 1/64 oz jig head. Thought I’d share a few pics.
Congratulations to one of the most positive and patient people I have ever known in my life. From Loreauville to Hammond to Baton Rouge and now, Buffalo, New York; extremely proud of this latest accomplishment, but way prouder of the man you have become.
@Coach_Durand Figured that. Seems like that has happened pretty often at the beginning of the season the last couple of years. Hope everything is going well for you, Alex!
@crappiedoc Always fun to catch something unexpected while crappie fishing. I caught this goo last week on a 10’ Hammer10 jig pole with 6# ACC Crappie Stix copolymer. The batteries in my scale were dead, but it had to be at least 8-9 pounds.
