@oviezmann Faced one good team in the entire run and immediately came up with 25% possession and 1 shot on target throughout 130 mins of football. Imagine them having to go through the path we had to win our UCLs
Beat Napoli, prime Barca and Bayern in their own backyard for our 1st UCL. Beat champions and runner-up of Spain, champions of Portugal and champions of England for our 2nd UCL. "Have more luck" do you even think before you speak?
Robben missed Bayern pen too, Chelsea European heritage is just having more luck than anyone else. They'll never win any UCL again, they'll be like how Forest just brag about the European trophies now 50yrs later. I can't even see them playing in the competition for another 4yrs
We don't have players making the run, we can't pass right, we can't track the runners, can't dribble, can't press. We're doing literally nothing right lol
We could've gone the rest of the season after Rosenior without any head coach/manager and it would yield the same result lmao this team looks like nobody's coached them
Xabi Alonso looking at JP and Enzo leave only to be given Emegha, Delap, Guiu, Jackson, Lavia, Santos and Barco. You got 7 dudes that can't replicate the goal contribution of 2 players. Wow, just wow.
Hired Xabi Alonso only to give him a midfield with zero goals involvement, strikers that can't score, wingers that can't dribble (bar Estevao) and defenders that can't defend. All the experienced players are leaving too, 5 sporting directors for what???
I genuinely don't know what the club is thinking at this point. Just who are we replacing Enzo with? Just how many midfielder are actually attainable that can 1) be available for majority of the season 2) turn up consistently 3) play all positions in midfield at a high level?
@TheBlueDodger Tbf it's these matches with the most pressure that helps build a player. You can see the big game gene in Enzo because of that. As much as I want our players rested, it's also in our interest that they play in the world cup.
@CarefreeEdition Quite literally dictatorship. Can't criticize them, never get consequences for their errors, apps and commentators constantly protecting refs. THE MOST protected job of all time
Both foul from Khusanov getting waved away is genuinely crazy. Didn't get the ball on both occasion, if that was done on any part of the pitch, it's a foul but since it's inside City's box, it's fine. Darren England the best English football can provide apparently.
I can understand the handball one not being given, there's not much the defender can do about it. But how's a full speed shove on JP's chest and pushing Hato from behind not given as pen? Every domestic final we get screwed over, insane.
