101 yr old dental patient from France
Her: (w/ French accent) Pull down your mask, I want to see if you are good looking
Me: Obediently I pull my mask down
Her: Stand in front of me so I can see you.
Me: Obediently I move in front of her.
Her: “Hmm… Well… Not that bad!”
This year @BYUMBB & #BYU willingly & unethically & unapologetically built a basketball team that won zero @MarchMadnessMBB games.
@BaylorMBB
@mattmosley AJ is the real deal. He is such a composed and cool player. He reminds me a bit of George Girvin. Now I see why BYU is willing to pay him $6 million No doubt he’s a top draft pick . the Bears had no answer for him.
@mattmosley@BUDREW@BaylorMBB@theACC He committed and signed a contract. I would think legally he has to wear Baylor jersey this evening... and sit on the Baylor bench!
WOW. Renee Good's father quoted Scripture on CNN. He manages to LOVINGLY says that "the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience" & that if she "had been walking with the Spirit of God" he doesn't think she would have been there. But he says it so gently. God bless him!
@WutzReallyHood@congdonsation@abc3340 Pretty hilarious to show a shot clip with 0 on the clock. It was at 0 when the ball went through the net, but that doesn’t make it count.
In 1965, CBS executives were terrified of A Charlie Brown Christmas special. They told creator Charles Schulz that having Linus read from the Gospel of Luke was "too religious" for television and would offend the audience.
Schulz, a devout Christian, refused to back down. He told them: "If we don't tell the true meaning of Christmas, who will?"
It aired, unedited. It became the second most-watched show of the year and won an Emmy.
Even in the 60s, the world wanted to erase Christ from Christmas. One man's integrity kept Him on the screen for 50+ years.
