I don't think Iranians want king, shah or whatever similar. They are fighting for freedom, not another emperor. For those who forgot, in 1979 there was a revolution in Iran and people supported it then, because they were fed up with corruption of Pahlavi regime. #iran

New Years fireworks in Baku, Azerbaijan. I was practicing some night time photographs from one of the windows on the @Space_Station at the end of the work day on New Years Eve. I had just finished passing over my targets when I noticed something funny – the city below me was twinkling! I quickly took a video, and realized that as we were orbiting further east, we had orbited into 2026, and I was actually seeing the New Years fireworks over Baku, Azerbaijan! Nikon Z9/400mm lens.

Доходы российских нефтяных компаний за одну неделю упали до рекордно низкой отметки — менее ОДНОГО миллиарда долларов! Такого не было со времен "локдауна" в пандемию 2020г. По итогам недели, завершившейся 4 января, средний 4-недельный объем экспортных доходов России от нефти упал до $959 млн в неделю, подсчитал Bloomberg на основе данных агентства Argus.

По сравнению с началом октября нефтяная выручка РФ сократилась еще на 35%, или примерно $500 млн в неделю, а если сравнивать с началом декабря — на 15%, или почти $200 млн еженедельно.

Средняя цена Urals — главного экспортного сорта российских нефтяников — с момента, когда США объявили о санкциях против «Роснефти» и «Лукойла» — обвалилась почти на 40%. В первые дни января Urals продавали по $36,69 за баррель в портах Балтийского моря и по $34,82 — при отгрузке в Черном море. При текущих ценах на нефть ее добыча и экспорт на ряде российских месторождений уже стали убыточными, рассказывали Reuters источники в отрасли.
