በሪፖርቱ ሰኞ የካቲት 1 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ታጣቂዎች በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተከርስቲያን ምሥራቅ ሸዋ ሀገረ ስብከት ዝቋላ ደብረ ከዋክብት አቡነ ገብረ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ገዳም ላይ በሚገኙ አምስት ( 5) አባቶች ላይ የማገት እና አራቱ ላይ የግድያ ተግባር መፈጸማቸውን እንዲሁም አንድ አባት በሕይወት መገኘታቸውን ኢሰመኑ ለማወቅ ችሏል ብሏል።

ጥቃቱን የፈጸሙት ታጣቂ ሃይሎች ከዚህም ቀደም በገዳሙ ላይ ጉዳት ያደረሱ ሲሆን የሚመለከተው አካል ጊዜውን የጠበቀና ተገቢውን ምላሽ ባለመስጠቱ የከፋ ጉዳት ሊደርስ ችሏል ያለው ኢሰመጉ መንግሥት በሌሎች አካላት የሰዎች የሰብዓዊ መብቶች እንዳይጣሱ ማድረግ ከሰብዓዊ መብት ግዴታዎቹ አንዱ ሆኖ ላለ በአካባቢው ግድያዎች እና እገታዎች በተደጋጋሚ መፈጸማቸው ይህን ግዴታውን በአግባቡ እየተወጣ እንዳልሆነ ማሳያ ነው ይህን ተከትሎ ችግሩን ሰላምን በአስተማማኝነት ሊያመጣ የሚችል ዘላቂ መፍትሄ ካልተሰጠው በስተቀር በአካባቢው የሚኖሩ እንዲሁም የሚዘዋወሩ ሰዎች በነጻነት ከቦታ ቦታ ለመዘዋወር እና የእለት ተግባራቸውን ለማከናወን ተግዳሮት እየሆነባቸው እና በእገታ እና በግድያ ስጋት ውስጥ እንዲኖሩ እያደረጋቸው ይገኛል ብሏል።

በፌደራልና በከልል የሚገኙ የሚመለከታቸው የመንግስት የጸጥታ አካላት ለማህበረሰቡ እንዲሁም የዝቋላ ደብረ ከዋክብት አቡነ ገብረ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ገዳም እና በሰሜን ሸዋ ዞን በአጣዬ ከተማ እና አካባቢው በቂ ጥበቃ በማድረግ ከስጋት ነጻ የሚሆኑበትን መንገድ እንዲያመቻቹ እና ጥቃት የደረሰባቸው ቤተሰቦች ተገቢውን ካሳ የሚያገኙበት ሁኔታ ላይ በእንከሮ እንዲሰራ ጠይቋል።
