🚨 Tesla FSD v14.3.7 did nearly the exact opposite — nearly 2.5 miles before the exit it got over into the slow lane and got behind much slower traffic.
Now, v14.3.8, anecdotally, waited til the last minute to get off the highway
This is the full clip. One reason I commonly intervene with FSD engaged is because it takes a long time to make a decision on when to get over into the correct lane for an exit or upcoming turn.
The car in front did me no favors by braking for next to no reason with this truck beside me. However, FSD could have gotten over earlier just based on the congestion.
I had fun with the maneuver but it’s not one I want to do too many times.
We’re ending our partnership with Cursor following its acquisition by SpaceX. Under our proposal, Cursor’s direct access to our models would end on November 12.
We know that the people most affected by this decision are the developers who rely on OpenAI models in Cursor. We care about their experience in this transition and we’re ready to go above and beyond to support them.

@BrennenMerriman If you notice I said I wouldn’t want to do it again, but the fact that the maneuver is fun is subjective. I felt like it was fun in the moment but no I wouldn’t want the car to do it again.
@Barnes5Rob I try not to do that unless completely necessary because I do tend to think that my input is usually error more often than not. I also like to see what it will do in certain situations and how it will work its way out of a predicament.
Apple TV is showing up as an integrated app when you open it in the Tesla Browser
Perhaps there are some additional streaming services that will be integrated into Theater soon.
HBO Max 🙏
On Sunday I was tagged in a local Facebook group in a post that was asking about how Tesla Full Self-Driving works and if anyone would recommend it. It was super cool to see someone mention @Teslarati and me by name (it’s @KlenderJoey who runs this account) as a reputable source of information and FSD demos in my area.
I reached out to the OP and I am going to take them for a ride in the Model Y tomorrow to show them how awesome FSD is.
What are some things you’d suggest I explain to them and show them, whether it be an FSD maneuver or something that’s simply a Tesla feature. I am meeting them at a local Supercharger so I can also explain charging and explain that portion of the ownership experience (including Home Charging).
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Maybe I can even record the ride to get their reaction.
🚨 Minor bug with the new FSD Visualization Zoom with the Summer Update
Im having the visualization that can be seen below the music UI consistently blinking/flashing
Sort of annoying in your peripheral vision
🚨 Einride CEO Roozbeh Charli on the Tesla Semi partnership:
“If we start with the Amazon announcement that we did earlier this year, that was on the back of having gone through a proving period together with them and proving out our technology. Then we took that next step in the relationship of an initial deployment of those 75 trucks in their middle-mile network. We’ve started executing on that. We expect the majority of those 75 trucks to be deployed before year end.
Part of that is also the order that we put in and the partnership with Tesla, in order to have a good supply of vehicles that we can deploy on the platform. Tesla is also a relationship we’ve had for a while, and as the Tesla Semi deliveries are firming up, we decided to do a larger commitment to that and deploy that on our platform.
The initial order is 500 trucks. We’re expecting, you know, 75 approximately of that to be deployed this side of the year, and targeting to have the rest deployed by the end of next year. This is US-focused.”
“We’re acquiring the Tesla Semi. In our freight-capacity-as-a-service model, we deploy transport capacity. We acquire the trucks, we finance them through third-party financing partners, and then we deploy them on our platform and execute on the freight for our customers. In this case we will purchase the vehicles, have third-party financiers finance that, and deploy that on our Saga AI platform and do all the planning and execution of those trucks on the platform.”
Not sure if this is rolling out for everyone, or they just felt bad for me considering I'm paying @safelite monthly through @OnYourSide, and they couldn't replace a CT windshield. After that mess I bought another monthly sub. Hopefully it's for everyone!
