Am I the only one who was surprised that when Iron Man removed the Arc Reactor from his chest and gave it to Cap, there was just skin underneath? Was the Arc Reactor just a prop, or was it only there to help him transform?

@_justNoble Exactly. If that Multiverse of Madness universe was actually one of the worlds Doom had already interfered with, then Doomsday could be revealing that his plan has been in motion way before the Avengers even knew his name.

I noticed something insane in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer.

Doom is using green magic, and we see a destroyed New York with the Chrysler Building.

Now remember Multiverse of Madness. When Strange and America travel through the multiverse, they pass a universe with a destroyed New York covered in green magic.

Then Reed confronts Doom about the destruction, and Doom doesn't deny it. He says, “All of you have lived stolen lives.”

What if Doom isn't starting his multiverse war in Doomsday? What if he's been manipulating these universes long before the Avengers even knew he existed?

If Doctor Strange could see millions of possible futures but only one where the Avengers win, was his greatest victory actually accepting that saving the universe meant sacrificing Tony Stark?

There are a few possible explanations as to why Voldemort didn't become suspicious of Snape.

It's possible that Snape was very skilled at Occlumency and was able to keep Voldemort out of his mind completely.

It's also possible that, while Snape was able to shield his mind from Voldemort, he wasn't able to do the same for Legilimency.

This would mean that Voldemort could still see what was going on in Snape's mind, but he wouldn't be able to extract any information from him through Legilimancy.

Finally, it's possible that Voldemort simply didn't think there was anything worth investigating in Snape's mind.

From my personal observation, this is one of those fun MCU details that makes the timeline interesting.

Tony had access to Captain America’s shield because S.H.I.E.L.D. had recovered and stored Captain America-related items.

At this point, Steve Rogers was still frozen in the Arctic, so Tony obviously wasn’t getting the shield directly from him.

The shield seen in Iron Man 2 is also slightly different from the iconic version we later see Steve using.

It appears to be a replica or prototype rather than the actual shield Steve carried during World War II.

Howard Stark had worked closely with the U.S. military and had access to Captain America’s equipment and research.

So Tony likely encountered a replica through his father’s belongings or S.H.I.E.L.D.’s resources.

The movie doesn’t give a detailed explanation, but the later MCU timeline makes the scene easier to understand.

The prophecy was only ever about Harry. Just because Neville was born in July and had parents who fought Voldemort, doesn't mean it was about him.

If I'm describing my favorite fruit and say it's small and red, just because that description can apply to cherries and strawberries, doesn't mean I was ever referring to strawberries.

Harry was the only one who could have survived because of Voldemort went after Neville, he would have gone in blasting and no sacrificial protection

What would've happened if Neville was the Chosen One?

The prophecy fits both Harry and Neville. They were both born at the end of July.

But if Voldemort had chosen Neville instead of Harry, I honestly think the wizarding world would've lost.

And it all comes down to one person.

Snape.

Voldemort would've gone after the Longbottoms instead of the Potters.

If Alice doesn't do what Lily did and sacrifice herself for Neville, the story ends immediately. Voldemort wins.

But let's say Alice does the same thing Lily did.

The sacrifice works. Voldemort is destroyed. Neville becomes the Horcrux, gets the scar, becomes the Boy Who Lived, speaks Parseltongue, and has the same connection to Voldemort.

On the surface, everything looks the same.

Except Lily Potter is alive.

And that changes everything.

Snape only turned against Voldemort because Lily died. He felt guilty because he was the one who delivered the prophecy to Voldemort, and that guilt is what made him become Dumbledore's spy.

It's why he protected Harry.

It's why he continued Dumbledore's plan after Dumbledore died.

It's why Snape became one of the most important pieces of the entire plan to defeat Voldemort.

But if Lily is alive?

Snape has no reason to betray Voldemort.

He stays a loyal Death Eater.

Dumbledore loses his most valuable source of information. Snape isn't secretly protecting Neville at Hogwarts, feeding the Order information, or helping Dumbledore's plan from inside Voldemort's circle.

There would be no Snape killing Dumbledore on Dumbledore's orders.

The Elder Wand could end up in completely different hands.

And even if Neville somehow made it that far, there's another huge problem.

Snape wouldn't have given Neville his memories.

He only gave them to Harry because Harry had Lily's eyes.

Those memories were what allowed Harry to finally put everything together and understand what he had to do.

Neville wouldn't have had that connection.

And Snape wouldn't have cared whether Neville lived or died.

There were no Lily's eyes.

That's the part that completely changes the story.

Neville might not even survive the seven years.

And even if he did, without Snape working behind the scenes, Voldemort may have ultimately won.

Last time they killed Scott in the first act and pretended it was tragic. Now a Sentinel is holding him like a stress ball on official merch and people are acting like that’s a plot leak.
If Doomsday actually ends Marsden’s Cyclops, it only works if he dies as the leader — last stand, visor off, buying time for the next generation. Anything less is just clearing the board again.
A toy grip is not a death scene. Stop treating merch like dailies.
