Thrilled my 1st feature A VILLAGE COTTAGE FIT FOR A POET is in this week's super issue of People's Friend @TheFriendMag I fell in love with William Blake's poetry at school. Andy would be so proud as my first feature for this magazine was mentioned on the cover!
@danielleesther4@DavidJPIatt@TRobinsonNewEra And this same car managed to get all the way from Yorkshire to Devon in a couple of hours (a garage owner witnessed a car driver acting odd near her home at 9am and reported him to police so it was a very quick drive) and then all the way back. Make it make sense.
@AllanJenni9956@DavidJPIatt@TRobinsonNewEra And the car is supposed to an absolute rust bucket that hasn't been used for so long that weeds we're growing through it. We are supposed to believe he then got in this car and drove it without issue all the way to Devon and back. That's some fantastic car!
My latest story PROM PERFECT is out in this week's bumper issue of @My_Weekly story was inspired by a brilliant 16 year old who made her own prom dress! Great to share the pages with some good writing friends x #amwriting#prom#dressmaking#fiction

livenation - "A documentary shaped by people, purpose, and the power of music. ‘Matter of Time’ traces how Eddie Vedder’s two nights in Seattle helped raise the volume on the conversation around the rare disorder, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB)." https://t.co/KYYm8cOfDe
I miss my daughter.
Charlotte died on 24th February 2016.
She was just nineteen years old.
She died in a coma.
Some people say it was a long time ago.
For me, it will always be yesterday.
Before cancer, we shopped for clothes.
After diagnosis, we shopped for wigs.
We used to love eating out together.
After thirty-two days of radiotherapy, Charlotte couldn’t eat at all.
You were frightened of needles once.
Then blood tests became weekly.
Cancer took that fear away, it took so much more too.
After diagnosis, life was never “normal” again.
Hospitals became your world.
Endless chemotherapy. Endless waiting.
Yet every week, you bought me flowers.
Now I buy the flowers.
Every week.
And I take them to where you rest.
Glioblastoma is a terminal grade 4 brain cancer.
There is no cure.
In her final weeks before the coma, Charlotte was stripped of everything
her speech, her mobility, her independence, her dignity.
Glioblastoma does not pause.
It does not compromise.
It does not stop until it kills.
My son and I have worked tirelessly since
raising awareness, raising funds, telling Charlotte’s story
so that she is not just a statistic,
and so that one day another family might hear different words.
I miss my daughter.
And I always will.
Please RT Thank you

Awful delivery service from @Argos_Online How do I complain? Order rearranged for this afternoon but delivered at 7:30am. Delivery drivers refuse to carry heavy item upstairs despite always doing so when I've had 3 same items delivered over the last 2 years. Won't be buying again
