The idea of taking a mental health day away from work or school has begun to seem essential rather than daring. We turned to our readers to find out what they do during a mental health day. Here's what they told us:

Genuinely curious how many ambitious men out there (vs. ambitious women) have been told they want career advancement 'too fast' (or something similiar) after also being told they're exceeding the expectations of their roles..
Women occupy just 13 percent of senior executive roles at Canada’s largest companies. Join The Globe for a webcast on Nov. 3 as we share strategies on what the C-suite can do to close the gender gap at work. #GlobeGenderGap

@WestJet@larissakova If you're using gender to estimate weight load I'm gonna harbour a guess that you never have an accurate estimate and can still safely fly your aircraft by allowing all genders to be recognized in flight booking selections.
When Edmonton speaks with one voice, we are too loud for the province to ignore.
We will come together and demand better—that the province be an active partner as we work to make Edmonton safe, healthy and prosperous.
@CheryllYEG There's a difference between uncomfortable conversations and firing out 'off-putting' tweets without consideration. This simply doubles down on your original point without addressing the several concerns raised by our community members. You aren't listening.
@KeltieY@HaruunYEG@michaeloshry@CheryllYEG @WatsonYEG2021 Was literally just coming here to ask why the Watson campaign team called him out in the first place. Would rather be hearing about candidate stances on issues our city is facing..
@CheryllYEG Hi Cheryll. It has taken you a while to form this response to our feedback. In the meantime, I saw that several of your responses in the @taprootyeg survey were to not take a position, which seems rather closed for a leader. Could you please clarify why?

This is great. Kudos to @taprootyeg, the context sections were key.
Question for @CheryllYEG though--is there a reason you have not stated a position on:
- the energy transition strategy
- systemic racism in policing/the police budget
- at least 3 more issues important to #yeg?

The @taprootyeg municipal election survey is FANTASTIC. Select your ward, answer up to 30 questions on local issues and it shows you which candidates you align with most closely (both council and mayoral). #yegvote#yegcc

To form a majority, a party needs 170 or more MPs in the 338-member House of Commons.
As of Tuesday morning, the seat distribution was more or less the same as Aug. 15, when Parliament was dissolved. #elxn44vote

I try to reach out directly to candidates when I have questions. When they reply telling me their party "deserves" my vote or that in their "personal opinion," 'x' is reason enough to not give my vote to another party... I... sorry but I just had a question about your platform?
