Also, I’m a medical anthropologist and in a Theories of the Body class the students watch a documentary called “Queen of Lapa” about a community of transgender prostitutes. It’s a beautiful film.

@AimiHamraie I do a mental health check in/talk. Tell them this is time in semester when people's mental wellness gets wobbly, that I take it seriously. let them know that if struggling they can reach out, that i have NO stigma around it, and we can work out what we need to re the course.
