Regarding QATAR:

Qatar is the single largest foreign funder of American higher education, having pumped $7.7 billion into U.S. colleges and universities over the past four decades, including $1.1 billion in 2025 alone, with Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Texas A&M, and Georgetown among the top recipients.

On the political front, Qatar's foreign agents have donated nearly $700,000 to members of Congress and other government officials since 2020, with Qatari foreign agents contacting the offices of more than two-thirds of all members of Congress and at least 59 members receiving campaign contributions from firms lobbying on Qatar's behalf, while registrants representing Qatari interests contributed over $4.1 million to U.S. electoral campaigns since 2023 alone.

QATAR has also spent more than $243 million on Washington lobbying since 2015, deploying 28 registered FARA firms that target congressional offices, shape media narratives, and have recently redirected over half their influence operations toward conservative outlets.

This is a calculated, long-running influence campaign being waged by a government that simultaneously funds Hamas and hosts its leadership in Doha.

Our leadership needs to understand who and what we’re dealing with. The Saudi Minister clearly does.
