This felt more like a stepback, sadly. In retrospect, the cheek/mouth are not defined at all, hair too, making it look like a cheap 3d scan with color on top. I would love to hear what you think of these sculpts!
@joshopix yeah i also got some feedback from sculptor friends that the red is a bit "much", i liked to give some blush to my characters when i draw, but in 3d it is different i guess
Here I eventually put more time/effort into the hair/ear. I seperated them into their own pieces, which made sculpting much easier. (I also experimented a bit with expressions)
@Lord_G_Black Yeah i think some expression really gives them some attitude! One looks rebellious, the other looks cheeky... I oughta work on that more, gives them a lot of life
@buffythe3rd in the beginning, my sculpts were like...2 hours? now more around 3-4, since I like to observe more and refine (e.g the hair on the first post was a mess, but after that i put in more effort, same with ears, and other facial features)
