On the ninth day of Christmas, it's all smiles with Andrew, Annie, and Cricket. Andrew joined TCSAR this past season as a new volunteer. Annie, the big dog, will ride shotgun on his snowmobile, while little Cricket will ride shotgun on Annie (when Annie is taking a nap).
On the eighth day of Christmas, say hello to Ashley and Will. Ashley is part of the new class of volunteers that joined TCSAR in 2021, and Will is a 9-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who just loves mini marshmallows.
On the sixth day of Christmas, can’t forget about Jenn and Squirrel! Squirrel is a rescue that hates loud noises. Don’t tell her she’s sitting next to a helicopter.
Meet Tim and Kula, on the fifth day of Christmas. Tim has been a TCSAR volunteer since 1993 and continues to go out on rescues. Kula is always there when he gets back.
“Safety is our number one priority, and to reduce exposure to the public and rescue personnel in the backcountry, the gates will be closed until conditions improve to where search and rescue response is reasonably feasible.” VP of Operations Tim Mason.
