@DevonBirdsong I’d almost go with 2014 gm3 in Dalllas, the Vince Carter shot but rd1 isn’t same stakes and I never doubted that Spurs would win that series.
@wwalsh@ByTimReynolds Wemby left that gm early with an injury. Had 31pts in just 23mins. Also played limited minutes in the Cup gm in which the Spurs led for the majority of the gm b4 collapsing in the 4Q which was the main q of the tweet. Why do they blow leads to NY?
@MichaelErlerSBN@calebjsaenz 2012 gm5 v OKC is an excellent choice and worse than tonight as is the .4 gm. Tonight’s just fresher in the mind. I’ll even put 2016 gm5 vs OKC above this game.
@ALEXANDEREVENS2@tom_orsborn Different scenario. Trailing versus Minnesota, tied tonight. Go up the court with the offense NYK players out there. Make and win, miss and OT. Could easily have a turnover on the inbounds.
@IamIvanOmar No, I focused on the top two seeds. The actual top of the conference. The adults are discussing the actual best; 3 of the 4 who won 60+ games.
@SpursReporter While he misses many clear calls that anger fans of both teams, isn’t his reputation that home teams win far more often when he refs? OKC was 2-0.
@TheTyJager@DevonBirdsong Sports debate culture has created boilerplate emotional reactions to every series. We just saw last yr Indy win gm1 in OKC. 2 yrs prior Miami won gm2 in Denver. Yr prior Boston won gm1 at GSW. All those winners lost the series. Long series yet to come.
@DevonBirdsong Basically a repeat of Minnesota series gm1. Offense inconsistent then dried up late. Also, sadly, fiesta crowd colors now 1-3. Only the playoff opener was a win.
@jollyrogerwilco As most analysis has a NYK POV, I’m curious if we’ll see individual great games by Harper, Fox, Castle, while Wemby is stellar each night. Also noteworthy how strong Spurs have been on closeout night including 2x on road. In case they go up 3-2 or 3-1.
