“I know when you get in this stance, when you get in this angle, what you’re going to do”
Will Anderson details how in Year 2, with some help from Pro Bowl tackle Laremy Tunsil, his focus has shifted towards self-study to help build off his phenomenal rookie campaign #HtownMade
Nobody is hating on Lewis Bond - All the best towards the rookie and hope he plays well enough to make the team.
I just don't think there's a real avenue for him to see time unless players are injured or better talents (Tank/Noel) flop. Would much prefer that doesn't happen.
If Lewis Bond has more than 10 receptions as a rookie something went terribly wrong for Houston’s receiving group.
Begging folks to put their energy towards areas of the team that are more deserving/interesting
@chrisking0990 Hey, if fans want to get excited about a 6th round rookie from a historically weak draft class instead of the breadth of receiving talent available on the depth chart... they can do that!
I'll keep my focus on the guys that are going to play.
@LawSchaub@TheCoreyBarrett Noel does ~everything~ better than Bond and has proof of concept from last season.
Better talent, better prospect, quality NFL film from last year - That is the guy fans should be manifesting takes over at slot
@TheCoreyBarrett@JuansTweeter And that’s the crux of my tweet it’s a better ceiling outcome if Nico stays healthy, tank stays healthy and Higgins & Noel take steps forward than a world where a 6th round rookie has any kind of role in this receiving room.
@kadotuh@TheCoreyBarrett Hypothetically could be 40-50% if you’re taking into account how much jumbo they ran last year.
Don’t believe the opportunity is there unless more talented guys flop or players get injured.
@TheCoreyBarrett@JuansTweeter It would be a much better outcome for the team if Nico Collins and Tank Dell did play full seasons and stifle that opportunity.
@JuansTweeter@TheCoreyBarrett Because it would objectively be a better outcome if Tank Dell is healthy enough to play like his old self or atleast 80% of that player.
@TheCoreyBarrett This team is hypothetically about to play 20-30%+ 12/13 personnel and his best possible outcome is WR5 in that setting.
If he ends up playing more than Tank Dell or Jaylin Noel it’s a bad outcome for the team, if he plays more because of injuries that’s not a good outcome.
Following a pair of huge trades involving three of the best teams in the NFL, this is where @RalphVacchiano sees the state of each team in the league.

Sources: The #Patriots and #Eagles have had deep discussions on a trade that would send WR AJ Brown to New England for a 2028 1st-round pick.
Other details of the trade package are still being finalized. But the expected deal is on track to happen.
