The Rangers' offense backed him early, scoring five runs on six hits over the first two innings against Bryan Woo. Ezequiel Duran tripled, Evan Carter doubled and Nicky Lopez drove in a run on a groundout during a three-run first inning. Duran and Wyatt Langford each added an RBI in the second to extend the lead to 5-0.
Seattle's lone run came in the fifth on a J.P. Crawford double. Alejandro Osuna added the final two runs for Texas with a two-run double in the seventh.
