Texas IB Schools is busy with a week of IB workshops in Austin. We have definitely added some younger faces at registration and our snack stand. We appreciate their assistance.

Texas IB Schools had a very successful college fair yesterday. Thanks to the 1300 + IB students, their coordinators and counselors who brought them to the fair, and the nearly 100 colleges and universities who greeted them. It was a wonderful day!
TIBS had a wonderful two days in Georgetown, first meeting with the board, followed by meetings with IB coordinators and administrators from across the state.

While many of us at TIBS are in the Austin heat at an IB training workshop, Executive Director Karen Phillips is enjoying the IB Global Conference in cool Toronto. Photos from the opening sessions of #IBGC2023 and a few from Westwood HS. Fortunately, both events are going well.
Session two of our 2023 Austin training begins tomorrow. Registration was at the Renaissance Hotel this evening. We looks forward to seeing all our participants bright and early in the morning.
A lovely tradition at our Austin summer trainings is dinner and sunset watching at the Oasis. While the lake is low on water, the spirits of this IB family of trainers and TIBS folks were very high. Family photos are always the best!
We have just completed our first IB workshop in Austin for 2023. Over 500 participants enjoyed the hospitality of Westwood High School in Round Rock ISD, as well as the knowledge and skills of our outstanding workshop leaders. Session two begins tomorrow. Welcome to Austin.
