This week a water/wastewater PWRT strike team responded to the City of Surfside Beach, TX to assist with wastewater restoration, utilities support, and critical infrastructure damage assessments to the island community heavily impacted by Hurricane Beryl.
Our TX-PWRT drone assessment teams have been busy all over SE Texas assisting our state partners with capturing critical data for damage assessments. Our teams continue to remain in the affected areas to support any local or state requests for assistance.

The Texas A&M Public Works Team continues to support the response and recovery efforts in the Texas Panhandle. TX-PWRT Strike teams are assisting locals and state partners in various operations throughout the affected areas.

TX-PWRT has been requested by the Texas Division of Emergency Management to respond to the Texas Panhandle Wildfires. Crews loaded equipment and are currently enroute to provide public works assistance.
TX-PWRT was deployed to the City of Cumby, TX to assist locating and repairing water main leaks. The water/wastewater strike team was able restore water back to the residents and business.
