The college courses I was allowed to take in prison gave me the head start I needed to complete my undergrad and master’s degrees after I was home. One of the smartest moves policymakers are making is to make college education available and accessible to incarcerated people.

Spring break is a useful time to relax and catch up on grading for our volunteer instructors. The Sociology of Health and Society team used some of their time off to meet up and grade exams. Good luck to everyone in the final stretch of the semester!
