Somewhere on the Churchill Way overpass above Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas there will be one or more news vans reporting the approaching snow storm. Take pity on them. There isn't a convenience store with snacks or bathroom for miles.

Twice this week I have made donations to two outstanding zoos: @DallasZoo and @phoenixzoo.

For the #DallasZoo, I renewed my above average membership in the form of 3,333 lbs of bananas. The monkeys should not eat them all at once. They will get a tummy ache.

For the #PhoenixZoo, I made a donation in memory of my dearly departed Aunt Sue. She was a Phoenix resident and zoo volunteer for many years. She will be greatly missed by family and animals alike. Godspeed, Sue.

If you can, please donate to your local zoo. Places like these really bring the joy to the world both young and old.

Howdy, y'all. It's time to start shooting wet plate photography, or as most of you call it, tintype. This is one of the oldest methods of photography.
