We Build on Tezos! @tezosagora

[Tezos Commons @TezosCommons]

Ida Belle spent years collecting and supporting artists on Tezos. Then she started wondering what more she could do between purchases.

That question became TezCity.

This week on TezTalks Live, we meet the collector behind the platform and discover what she's building for the Tezos art community.

A wave of new dApps just landed on Tezos, and we have been living inside all of them.

In this month's Spotlight he opens five doors:

- TezCity, a social home built for Tezos Aleatory, fully on-chain generative art
- TezTowers, a 3D city you can own a piece of
- The Wall Today, where one pixel can start a war
- Teztree, your Tezos link page

Which one are you trying first?

@TezosBakingBad It's always a great feeling seeing an OG developer shipping on Tezos.

ICYMI -- our latest Tuesday | TezDay space is now up!

[Tezos @tezos]

🎧 For five years, @IdaHerself heard the same wish at Tezos events: a social network built on Tezos.

So she and her team built one → @tezcity

Follow artists. Support them with memberships and tez tips.

Love seeing this. Eleven community-led events coming to Tezos between now and December, both online and IRL, all proposed by the people who'll run them. Congrats to Cohort 2 and the @TeiaCommunity 💙

Keep an eye on the thread as each team shares how you can get involved 👇

After review and multisig vote on community proposed events for Aug-Dec of this year, we are pleased to announce our second cohort of successful applicants!

Each applicant will be organizing a community event unique to them, and bringing exciting opportunities to Tezos!

👉Don't forget, the TRIBE OF VALIDATORS will be live on X and YouTube tonight at 1900 UK time.

🍾We'll be talking about baking/validating on @Tezos, quantum test networks and no doubt vibe coding. Come and find out how the six of us run our bakers.

🪚We have some OGs lined up for the show. Let's make it a good one!

Tezos is alien technology.

[Tezos Commons @TezosCommons]

What does it actually mean to support artists on Tezos?

This week we talk about about paying it forward, we dig into creative projects on TTCrowd that deserve a closer look, and VAULTED opens its doors to artists for Season One.

Plus, collector Ida Belle tells us why she built TezCity on TezTalks Live.

Our guest this week for Artz Friday is @pluraluse, a digital art pioneer who's been minting on Tezos since April, 2021. Currently developing his own GAN, this artist makes video feedback GIF art you won't want to miss. Set those reminders and let's get artsy!

“Red fish, Blue fish” was minted for gifday 2025, a striking representation of sitting and admiring a fish tank. For many, that act becomes a meditative experience, getting lost in the ripples and bubbles as these alien creatures from another world swim in circles. The glitch-like post-processing of this video highlights the trails they leave behind, a reaction to every action.

One of pluraluse’s earlier works on Tezos, “FeebDack,” was “generated” using three feedback sources and mixer effects. I put generated in quotes because this was 2021, before AI image tools went mainstream, and the machine doing the generating here was a video mixer feeding back into itself.

The idea of generating art from machines is not new, and it has always held genuinely artsy potential, as we see here. The loop creates a yin-yang rotation of contrasting colors, two shapes chasing each other through white, lime, peach, and a final rainbow smear. To me, it feels like the never-ending cycle of life in its pure energy state.

“Rainbow Moonrise,” his most recent drop minted on TEIA, takes a nature photograph and pushes it through digital processing until the sky breaks into rainbow bands and blocky, pixelated clouds under a burning white moon.

Our Gem of the Week is @pluraluse, who is hard at work building all sorts of artsy things on and off Tezos. His range runs from custom GANs to a recently revealed teaser of an entire Tezos Operating System, “tezOS,” and from glitchy GIF art to static compositions. Enjoy the thread and join us to learn more on Artz Friday.
