@JPATrades @FranchiseTrades The constraint now is power availability. The climate in VA is great but there isn’t any available power. It’s probably a 5-7 year wait if you want to get enough power to run a data center. Texas (ERCOT) has available power and is also easier to permit your own power generation.

@JPATrades Yeah that’s not true. Almost all new data centers have closed loop cooling and “consume” almost no water. Old school data centers used water cooled chillers and this was more true then, think 5-10 years ago.
