@PerthGas@Official_BRFC He played up and down the right wing on occasion - I remember him playing there whilst we watched him in the South Enclosure. I don’t think he played as a conventional right back.
The tyrants of Iran - after massacring 30-40,000 innocent people -are now hanging innocent young people from cranes in public and in secret.
This is one of the great moral tests of our time.
Keep shouting about this. Keep remembering them.
Covering thousands of acres of prime farmland with solar panels is a moral failure dressed up as virtue. It’s countryside vandalism.
Prime farmland exists to grow food. Not to host glass and silicon for 25 years while populations rise and arable land shrinks.
Better sites for solar exist in abundance: rooftops, brownfields, car parks. Choosing fertile fields instead is not necessity. It is preference - often driven by subsidies and land-use politics that undermine farmers, rural communities and future food security. That is not good governance. It is a corporation land grab contempt for the basic human requirement to eat. Because no farmland, no food.
While the world watches the war, the Islamic Republic of Iran hanged a 19-year-old boy today.
His name is Erfan Esfandiari and he was his parents' only child.
He did not kill anyone. He did not carry a weapon. His crime, according to the Islamic Republic, was opening a door. Sheltering protesters who were running from security forces. That was enough to send him to the gallows.
Erfan was one of 12 young men in the Alikhani Square case in Isfahan, arrested during the January 2026 uprising. Yesterday, all 12 were moved to quarantine. Today, the Islamic Republic hanged him.
This is a government that is so terrified of a generation that refuses to be silent, that it executes teenagers for the act of compassion.
Say his name. Because the regime is already trying to erase him. Because his mother and father are left with nothing, not even the right to grieve loudly.
This is more than a hand gesture, it is a silent cry for help from millions of Afghan women and girls denied education, freedom, work, and basic human rights.
Hear their voices. Break the silence. Stand with Afghan women and girls.

@SkyBetLeagueTwo@Official_BRFC@England Yep, Anderson was in a totally different class (and basically got us promoted) but I didn’t think much of Quansah.
