Oddly enough, I think you’re wrong here. God WAS the God of every planet in Lewis’ space trilogy. The men he concluded should just be beaten to death were the secular humanists who thought the point of existence was human domination of the universe (and by human they meant themselves in particular).

I feel like the following monologue is like the writer replaces Jake with herself to vent and assumes the viewer will find it funny. I’m sure some will, but I find it spiteful and not in the spirit of the show
