Peter Jackson filmed an unused epilogue showing what became of several characters after Aragorn’s coronation, including Legolas in Ithilien, Gimli exploring the Glittering Caves, and the wedding of Faramir and Éowyn.

He decided the film already had enough endings, so the scenes were left on the cutting-room floor. More than 20 years later, we know this footage exists but have still never seen it properly.

Release the second Extended Edition!
