260604 - XLOVGLOBAL STATEMENT
To our dear EVOL,
First of all, I would like to apologise on behalf of the XLOVGLOBAL Team for not having spoken up sooner about the Genocide of Palestinians, as well as the ongoing violence and bombings affecting civilians in Palestine and Lebanon.
We have over 30,000 people following our account who see our daily tweets, retweets, and updates.
It should not have taken us this long to make this statement, but it's time to do it now.
We, as XLOVGLOBAL, stand with Palestine.
We are against the currently ongoing Genocide through Israel.
We are against the ongoing violence, the bombings, and the loss of innocent civilian lives.
We are against the destruction of homes, schools, hospitals, and entire communities in both Palestine and Lebanon.
We are against the suffering, displacement, and acute hunger faced by hundreds of thousands of people who are being forced to live through this crisis.
As a platform with a large reach, we believe that staying silent is no longer an option. While our primary purpose has always been to support XLOV and provide updates for EVOL, we also recognize that there are moments where speaking out about human suffering is necessary.
We encourage everyone to stay informed, listen to affected voices, and support humanitarian efforts where possible.
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Free Lebanon 🇱🇧
PLEASE do not let pride month distract you from the fact there are queer individuals suffering. Speak up now more than ever, let their voices be heard, get their stories out there. The community needs as much support as we can give in times like these.
