Y'all...do know we can have more than one anime awards, right? It doesn't just have to be Crunchy's Anime Awards. We got more than one music awards, so why not?
So if it doesn’t affect you, it shouldn’t affect anyone else?
Brother man, I’m gonna need you to do better than this. Come on now.
People want to own physical copies of what they buy, and that’s okay. Just like it’s okay to buy digital copies.
If you want to put full faith and confidence in a company keeping their end of the purchase agreement, then more power to you and I sincerely hope that works out for you in your favor.
But don’t disparage others for wanting physical copies to ensure their ownership, or being hurt and angry when they lose a purchase option that they had for the better part of 30 years.
This is probably the most entitled post I’ve seen today.
Costco out here paying at or over $20 an hour to their employees plus benefits…and they’re complaining about paying for snacks from the breakroom?!
Also…if you look at the screen, it was only $3!
Charles Barkley says NO player would make $300,000,000 without Michael Jordan
"People act like guys always made $30, 40, 50 million dollars. When I got to the NBA, the average salary was $200,000, and then Magic and Bird came"
"I know I'm not as good as Bill Russell. Bill Russell made $2,000 and I was making $3 or $4 million, just because I was born at the right time. And not just the basketball and the money… Michael bought the shoes. People forget, nobody was doing commercials before Michael. Nobody was making money off shoes before Michael"
"Now guys are making $300, 400 million dollars a year because of Michael. Secondly, we all got commercials, nobody made commercials before Michael Jordan came along"
NFL legend Marshawn Lynch reveals that he didn’t touch any of his NFL checks during his 13-season career despite making around $60M and only lived off sponsor money 👀💰
“on my off days I’d go work with these brands and get a bag, bring in a couple 100 bands and I could just eat off that and not worry bout my game check”
Hard truth…
I can speak freely because I’m 65 years old and my pocketful of fucks is seriously depleted.
Working as a paralegal at various studios in LA for thirty years…I had the opportunity to observe studio executives closely.
They’re generally a slippery and clueless bunch who shouldn’t be allowed near anything remotely creative…but the new regime at Paramount is straight up evil.
I assure you.
These soulless bastards have nothing but contempt for a show about grace and redemption and the struggle against fascism.
ATLA is a mystery to them.
They. Do. Not. Value. The. Franchise.
O'Shea Jackson Jr. recently told Triple H that the amount of ads makes WWE programming “almost unwatchable”:
“I went to do Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, and afterwards Triple H came down and we were talking. I brought up my transgressions, and I was like, ‘Dude, the ads are crazy. It’s almost unwatchable.’ They said they know... they’re working on the placement of them.
Roman Reigns’ entrance is 7 minutes long, but that doesn’t mean it’s the time to throw the ads in. There should never be a moment where I miss Iyo Sky’s entrance. It’s a level of respect for them.”
Targeting of #BlackAmericans:
A significant portion of the show is dedicated to what #RachelMaddow frames as a concerted attack on #civilrights, including the firing of high-profile Black officials, the rescinding of anti-segregation clauses in federal contracts, and the alleged abandonment of Fair Housing Act enforcement.
#VotingRights:
The episode examines the fallout from the #SupremeCourt effectively gutting the Voting Rights Act, leading to aggressive redistricting efforts by state #Republicans in the South
