FN2’s final project for their “Meal Planning and Entertaining”unit was to plan and execute a brunch. 1st period did NOT disappoint. Menu: egg bites with baby spinach, bacon and tomatoes, oven roasted breakfast potatoes, pancakes, yogurt parfaits and mini strawberry shortcakes.

Even with some minor flooding, 5th period cupcake wars was a huge success! Tu-Anh was flying solo in kitchen 1 but her strawberry shortcake inspired cupcake, complete with a homemade strawberry jam filling, pulled through for the win! Great job everyone!
What a class! 4th period students created their own cupcake ideas on paper them made them reality! Be sure to zoom in to get a good look! Thanks to our special guest participants: @JoanieCanario@earlysclass2018 @GOROURKESCLASS and Ms. Melanie!
My pictures don’t do these cupcakes justice. The competition was fierce during 3rd period’s cupcake wars final. They all came out great, but kitchen 3 took the W with their triple Oreo masterpiece. Well done everyone!
6th Period: Cupcake Wars! The Winning cupcake was an orange infused shortbread cupcake with strawberry filling, chocolate frosting and topped with a chocolate covered strawberry. They were all impressively delicious!
