@AmericanAir That doesn't answer the question. I WAS expedited thru Customs and still could not make it thru 2 re-entry checkpoints (why is that the case?) just to reach gate D12 at 9:06p and literally have the gate attendant tell me the flight is closed, the rebooking counter is right there!

@AmericanAir I don't know where to start. I've never had the experience I had today with ANY other airline!! Landed in Miami from Panama on time with a connecting flight to BWI. But sitting on the tarmac for 45+ minutes, then having to deal with the tremendous line in customs

@AmericanAir Nothing's perfect, but this is the 2nd time this has happened to me with American never with any other airline I have traveled with. I just don't understand how at an airport with numerous terminal gates that can happen? Can you "support" me with some clarity at least?????

This could have been avoided @AmericanAir...honestly!! The chain reaction this causes to hard-working "Americans" from a company that has the word "American" in the name is disheartening and unacceptable!! I'm pretty sure I'll not fly with this brand again!

The fact that @AmericanAir has numerous terminal gates at MIA Airport and it took 45 minutes to find a gate for our landed flight is beyond unprofessional. Here is a photo of all the people who are in the same boat as us outside fighting to get on the hotel shuttle!
