DEAR CHRISTIANS, HINDUS, BUDDHISTS AND PEOPLE OF EVERY FAITH: I HAVE REACHED MY BREAKING POINT.
Effective immediately, I no longer identify as a Muslim.
The killing of the Bangladeshi couple has deeply traumatized me, shaken my beliefs and forced me to confront questions I can no longer ignore.
Between love and an AK-47, I choose love.
Between humility, kindness and a machete, I choose kindness.
Between embracing my neighbour and spilling their blood in the name of God, I choose humanity.
I am ready for my pork, my beer 🍻, my hugs, my laughter and the freedom to love my neighbours without fear.
I want to sit with happy people, respect different beliefs and live without being told that somebody must die because they offended another person's God.
ALLLAH DID NOT CREATE HUMANITY SO THAT HUMAN BEINGS COULD ENSLAVE, TERRORIZE OR SLAUGHTER ONE ANOTHER IN HIS NAME.
I am an African.
A proud Kenyan.
A Luo.
Before any religious label, I am a human being, and I refuse to surrender my conscience to any ideology that demands blood as proof of devotion.
I cannot accept killing in the name of God.
I cannot accept shooting in the name of God.
I cannot accept decapitation in the name of God.
If your understanding of religion requires me to become a murderer to prove my faith, then I want no part of it.
If God needs me to kill on His behalf, I have serious questions about the god being presented to me.
My heart is tired of religious arguments that turn human suffering into a theological debate.
A dead person is not brought back to life because someone quotes scripture.
A grieving family does not find comfort in explanations about sacred places.
Brutality does not become righteous simply because the perpetrator claims divine authority.
I want a world where Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists and people of every other conviction can live together without fearing one another.
I want faith that produces compassion, not terror; humility, not arrogance; peace, not bloodshed.
I will not pretend that every religion or religious community is responsible for the actions of its extremists.
Nor will I condemn innocent people because of the beliefs they hold.
I will question, without apology, every ideology, institution and authority that excuses cruelty in the name of the sacred.
MY HUMANITY IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.
MY CONSCIENCE IS NOT FOR SALE.
NO RELIGION WILL CONVINCE ME THAT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING'S BLOOD IS THE PRICE OF MY SALVATION.
I choose love. I choose kindness. I choose Africa. I choose humanity.
And I refuse to be ashamed of choosing life over religiously justified violence.

“We can’t always be blackmailed by African countries that they helped us during apartheid, it has ended , they must ensure there is political stability in their countries”.
🚨‼️Unanswered prayer doesn’t usually destroy faith overnight. It wears it down slowly. You ask. You wait. You ask again. Nothing changes. So eventually, you stop asking, not because you stopped believing in prayer, but because you stopped believing God intends to answer you. That’s not humility. That’s disappointment left untreated.
Most bitterness toward God isn’t loud. It’s quiet resignation. Prayer becomes careful, vague, and guarded. You stop bringing specific requests because you don’t want to be disappointed again. You still say “Thy will be done,” but now it’s not surrender, it’s armor. You’re bracing yourself instead of trusting Him.
Here’s the hard truth: when believers stop asking boldly, they don’t become more spiritual—they become more wounded. Jesus never rebuked anyone for asking too much. He rebuked people for not believing God was good. Bitterness creeps in when prayer shifts from expectation to emotional self-preservation.
God never told you to protect your heart from Him. He told you to trust Him with it. Unanswered prayer is not proof God is absent. But silence becomes dangerous when it convinces you to stop knocking. Faith doesn’t die when God says no, it dies when the believer stops asking because they’ve already decided the answer.
Okay... I'm going to sound like real-life @ChrchCurmudgeon here, but here goes...
If you are a church musician, and you honestly want to "lead people in worship" through music, you may want to do the following:
1) Pick a singable key for the median person who doesn't sing all the time. Don't pick a key to highlight your voice.
2) Lower the volume so people can hear the voices of those around them, and themselves.
3) Let people sing the melodies that are familiar to them. While you may want to jazz up or do the latest CCM twist of "Hark the Herald" or "Silent Night"--people can't follow you. They just want to sing the song.
Picking keys to highlight your voice; playing at concert volume; doing creative rearrangements to make the familiar suddenly unfamiliar... all discourage us from singing.
There's NOTHING wrong with highlighting your voice, or playing at concert volume, or doing creative rearrangements of songs... if you are a performer.
Book a gig somewhere! Play out! Be great! Build a following! But please, when we all get together and sing, don't put up barriers to stop us.
You know, when I hear stories like this, it hurts thrice.
Firstly, because they think they are taking advantage of a kind person.
Secondly, because they are making it difficult for others to get help. They drink from a well and poison it for others.
And thirdly, because they are so myopic. They think they have made money, but actually, they have made nothing.
They have deducted billions from the money they could have made in the future if they weren't scammers.
Now, he's no longer in your good books or those of your network. It's better not to even get $500 from you but to have your contact than to lose your contact for $500.
And this is why many people are poor. They aren't aware that money hides in people. Hence, relationships aren't just for contacts; they are for contracts.
I'm sorry about that experience, bro. The joke is on him.
A Texas Pastor got the flu and it left his windpipe so damaged he could no longer preach so he had to resign from the pastorate.
Doctors said he would never recover.
Despite his weak raspy voice his Sunday school class asked him to preach.

When Jesus comes into our lives, he doesn’t do so merely to take our side. He does so in order to take over. Jesus is not our consultant or adviser. Nor is he our personal assistant. He is our Lord.
