QUESTIONS IN. ANSWERS OUT OF OFFICE.
We asked a simple question to Minister @Leon_Schreib : Does the Minister believe the current fines for employers who hire undocumented foreign nationals are an effective deterrent, and will the fines be reviewed?
Perhaps the answer is still waiting for a visa. Or perhaps it is trapped somewhere between "we are seized with the matter" and "the department will respond in due course."

For nearly a year, the @PublicProtector office has found time for legal threats, and lectures to South Africans about what can and cannot be said about her office.
What it apparently hasn't found time for is concluding the ATM's complaint against former Police Minister Senzo Mchunu. The same office that moves at lightning speed when responding to criticism has somehow taken 359 days to deal with a complaint that the law envisages should be handled within 30 days. Interesting priorities.

Medicine disappears. Patients suffer. MPs ask questions. Minister of @HealthZA disappears too.
South Africans stand in long queues only to be told that medication is out of stock. Hospitals struggle with shortages. Clinics are under pressure.
We are not seeking for Neurosurgery! Sicela izimpendulo Minister!

A straightforward request. Nothing complicated. Just basic information that any department serious about accountability should have at its fingertips.
Yet the answer appears to be buried deeper than some of the abandoned shafts themselves.
At 69 years old, one would expect the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources to appreciate the value of leaving behind a legacy of accountability rather than a growing catalogue of unanswered parliamentary questions. @MyANC please assist uMkhulu @GwedeMantashe1

Haibo @ButiManamela ?!? @HigherEduGovZa
12,000 students. Countless promises. Zero answers.
When thousands of students are left in NSFAS "gap investigations" limbo, one would think the Minister of Higher Education would be eager to explain what is happening. Instead, Parliament is still waiting for answers.
