Free, up-to-date help for entering Thailand: TDAC arrival card, 30-day visa exemption, extensions, overstay and border rules. Not a government site. 🇹🇭
🚨 Crossing into Thailand by land or sea? The overlander trap:
Visa-exempt land/sea entries: max 2 per calendar year (exceptions: Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore). And you need a new TDAC every time.
Planning repeat entries? Ask a Thai embassy like @ThaiEmbDC.
Full border checklist 👇
1. TDAC isn't just for flyers. All non-Thai nationals arriving by land or sea must submit it before arrival, within 3 days before, arrival day included. The official form is free and it is not a visa.
2. New entry = new TDAC. An old confirmation doesn't carry over to your next crossing.
3. On the 15-day exemption? TAT specifies a maximum of two land-border entries per calendar year.
4. Myanmar passport? The 14-day bilateral exemption applies at international airports only, not land crossings.
5. Before you submit, recheck full name, nationality and date of birth. Those can't be edited afterwards. Made a mistake? Submit a new TDAC. The latest one counts.
6. Keep the confirmation and QR code ready at the checkpoint.

@trip_event For anyone booking one of these packages from abroad: the TDAC arrival card is still on you. It's free on the official immigration site and goes in within 3 days of landing, arrival day included. Groups of up to 10 can go in one submission. Who's flying in for it?
@abplive Good timing with Yi Peng this month. For anyone flying in for it: the TDAC arrival card is free on the official site and goes in within 3 days of arrival, arrival day included. Any site charging you for it is a look-alike.
@FattyNatsu Solid breakdown. One for anyone planning a long stay off the back of this: when you rent, your landlord has to file TM30 with immigration within 24 hours of you moving in, and again after you move or re-enter. Worth asking about before you sign. What visa are you on there?
