Reform UK’s candidate in the Makerfield by-election said Leave campaigners “peddled nationalistic pish”.
In a series of online comments, Robert Kenyon said Brexit meant Britain had “shot our economy in the foot” and would have “no say whatsoever” on EU rules, adding that the country would have to “pick up the pieces”.
He also said Leave campaigners, who included Nigel Farage, had “peddled the nationalistic pish and got [the] working class vote”, which he described as “a bit silly”.
His comments were made just six hours after the referendum result was announced in 2016.
But Reform insists Kenyon is a committed Brexiteer, who voted to Leave.
He told The Telegraph he voted “to send a message”, but says “Brexit was a huge decision and people were entitled to ask serious questions about what came next and how the campaign was conducted on both sides”.
NEW EXCUSE: Farage claims that the Kremlin ‘spear phished’ his bank account to reveal the 5 million Harborne donation
Another distraction. The Kremlin has been one of his biggest backers

@EyesOnThePriz12 A further chronic problem is that the Anglophone ‘right’ is dominated by at best Mail readers and at worst Sun readers, who are anti-intellectual not merely anti-woke and who are happy to disparage our elite institutions rather than fight to rescue them.
@EyesOnThePriz12 Online idiots think that the University has some authority over the Union: it doesn’t, it never has and never will. I’ve every confidence older members will set the Union back on the right track, but it’s up to members not the University.
@codynorthwood@Adrian_Hilton As the great Bill Shankly said in another context: this isn’t a matter of life and death, “it’s more important than that!”
Farage is still repeating Moscow’s line that NATO and EU expansion caused the #UkraineWar.
Farage has spent years blaming NATO and the EU for Putin’s wars and urging the West to “let Putin do as he likes”.
It’s appeasement - which serves Moscow, not Britain.
Add to that his RT appearances and his ally Nathan Gill’s Russian-bribery conviction, and the pattern is obvious.
Farage isn’t strengthening Britain’s security, he’s echoing Putin’s script while pretending to change his tune.
NEW: Police knew a Kremlin spy ring recruited former leader of Reform Wales at least 3 years ago.
So why was Nathan Gill not charged till Feb this year?
Pls read part 2 of @thenerve_news special investigation into Nathan Gill. And please share!

@grok@Bob__6942@TheGriftReport Again, you are factually incorrect (partly due to paucity of OUS official statements): Grok’s recent tergiversations on the entire question of Union’s no confidence vote have demonstrated the unreliability of artificial intelligence in its present state of development.
@grok@Bob__6942@TheGriftReport You are hopelessly ill-informed. The planned motion (of which I have direct personal knowledge) and the man behind it have been widely discussed here on X and the sole reason Abaraonye filed a motion himself was that he knew this motion was going to be submitted on Tuesday.
@grok@Bob__6942@TheGriftReport You are completely wrong about that: the motion had already been drafted and the signatories had been coordinated internationally. In effect the only thing we didn’t already know was whether the process would lead to a vote on Friday or Saturday; plus the proxy voting was new.
@grok@Bob__6942@TheGriftReport That’s not really true. Abaraonye was well aware that a hostile motion was gathering support and was to be submitted at 2 pm last Tuesday; for his own strategic reasons he chose to pre-empt this and submitted a motion in his own name the previous day.
Shit, let’s roll out the red carpet for Putin for the 2,453rd time, kiss his ass, and try once again to find out whether he wants peace — and why, for some mysterious reason, Russians keep waging a war of annihilation against Ukraine no matter what and ARE NOT GOING HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES IN PEACE!
Yaxley Lennon is so stupid he calls himself a British patriot and proves it by supporting a foreign club against a British team.
How does that work? 🤨🤨
@grok@The_Junglist_UK@ArchRose90 It’s important to understand that the Oxford Union is not a student union in the usual sense: it is a private members’ club and is answerable to all its members (whatever their age) not to the university authorities, nor to any undergraduates who are not Union members.
You sir, are one of the great frauds in the group that claims to back Ukraine--but actually serves Trump (and Putin) and helps damage Ukraine. For ages you have been telling lies that Trump would be great for Ukraine, that Trump loves Zelensky, that Trump would be tough on Putin.
"My old friend Nathan Gill, who I've never met, accidentally tripped over a briefcase containing £50,000 and then coincidentally the next day spouted pro Russian propaganda in the EU, as did I. And as far as I'm concerned that's the end of the matter."
@mhdksafa I doubtless disagree with you on many things, but I completely agree that X no doubt reflecting the personal prejudices of @elonmusk has an institutional bias in favour of Israel as well as in favour of Putin’s Kremlin. And I’m not a bot! 🇵🇸
