Thames Reach is a London-based charity helping people affected by homelessness to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives.
First up is Ash. After a difficult period of unemployment, Ash joined our Keeping in Touch team as a volunteer. What started as a way to stay active and give back helped him build new skills, regain confidence and get back into employment.

Today marks the start of #VolunteersWeek, a chance to celebrate and thank the incredible volunteers who give their time, skills and compassion to support our work.
Throughout the week, we'll be sharing stories from some of our amazing volunteers and the difference they make.
You can also help by making a donation. Our outreach teams are out on London’s streets every day, supporting people during the heatwave and helping them move away from rough sleeping safely: https://t.co/05gjnpi78d
