It's common to see your achievements as just "luck" or "easy" when you are looking back. Be proud of everything you have overcomed to be where you are.

my initial response was: "what's there to be proud of I haven't done anything yet"

they respond there's so much to be proud of

sometimes you forget how far you have come especially when you're the first to become a physician
