Waziri wa Viwanda na Biashara ,Mhe. Judith Kapinga alikuwa ndiye Mgeni rasmi katika hafla hii adhimu.

Napenda kuwapongeza Bi. Dina Marios , Bi. Vida Mahimbo na timu nzima ya maandalizi kwa kuandaa tukio zuri la kuwakutanisha pamoja wanawake mbalimbali kutoka katika sekta mbalimbali na kutambua mchango wao katika kuinua uchumi wa nchi yetu.Kwa hakika hafla ilifana sana.

On 26th September 2025, I was honoured to visit the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in Capetown, South Africa .This was another significant step for CBE to strengthen international partnerships with other academic institutions beyond borders.

In a meeting with Prof. Monwabisi K. Ralavala, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) and Acting Rector of UWC, both institutions agreed in principle to collaborate in teaching, learning, and research. The partnership will also include staff and student exchange programs to enrich academic experiences and foster cross-cultural knowledge sharing.

This collaboration is expected to promote academic excellence, innovation, and stronger research outputs that respond to global challenges. It also aligns with CBE’s commitment to expanding international cooperation, building networks, and creating opportunities for both staff and students.

Tarehe 8 Septemba 2025, niliunganika na wafanyakazi wenzangu kutoka katika kampasi za Dar es Salaam,Dodoma , Mbeya na Mwanza kutembelea vivutio vya Magoroto vilivyopo Muheza Mkoani Tanga ikiwa ni mojawapo ya matukio mbalimbali ambayo taasisi wameyafanya kusherekea miaka 60 tangu kuanzishwa kwa Chuo cha Elimu ya Biashara.

Kwa kweli nilifarijika sana kukutana na wafanyakazi wenzangu,na kupata wasaha wa kushiriki pamoja michezo mbalimbali na jioni kula pamoja katika hafla iliyofanyika katika Hotel ya Nyumbani Tanga mjini.

Leo tarehe 29 Agosti ,2025, Chuo cha Elimu ya Biashara kikiongozwa na Mwenyekiti wa bodi ya CBE Prof. Zacharia Mganilwa kilipokea ugeni wa Mhe. Balozi wa Comoro nchini Tanzania Dkt. Ahamada El Badaoui Mohamed Fakih.

Ziara hii imelenga kukuza mahusiano baina ya nchi ya Tanzania na Comoro hususani katika eneo la taaluma.

Tarehe 27 Agosti, 2025, Chuo cha Elimu ya Biashara CBE kilitia saini ya makubaliano/ maelewano ya kuimarisha mahusiano na Chuo Kikuu cha Afya na Sayansi Shirikishi Muhimbili (MUHAS) katika maeneo ya Taaluma na Tafiti zenye tija nchini.

Kwa upande wa Chuo cha Elimu nilisaini makubaliano hayo ya ushirikiano ,huku MUHAS wakiwakilishwa na Makamu Mkuu wa Chuo Prof. Appolinary Kamuhabwa.

Pamoja na mengine, nilipata nafasi ya kutembelea maktaba ya MUHAS.

I moderated a panel titled "Towards Gender Equality, digital access, and the
advancement of women in science
Spotlight Talk" at the Research4Life R4L Conference: Action for Equity at the
Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford, Wednesday 23 July 2025,

I moderated the session as the Rector of CBE and the Vice Chair of Research4Life Executive Council. The
The first presenter was Alessio
Muscarnera, a research fellow at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), presented a paper on the
"Digital Access to Knowledge and Women in Science,"
Further, we were joined by three remarkable women leaders who brought diverse
perspectives from Ghana, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Together, we explored the barriers,
breakthroughs, and bold ideas shaping the future for women in science. These remarkable women included the following:
• Dr. Miriam Linda Akeriwe, University Librarian, University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana and
Research4Life Country Connector Ghana
• Nasra Gathoni, Co-Chair of Research4Life’s Equity Committee, Senior Instructor & Faculty of Health Sciences
Librarian, Aga Khan University, Kenya
• Dr. Bintu Ndusha, Associate Professor, Université Evangélique en Afrique, Research4Life Country Connector,
Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

All these experts were able to share insightful contributions. It’s clear that the future of science depends on how we support women
— through access, through policy, and through strong local leadership.

It was an honour to meet the Tanzanian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, H.E Mbelwa Kairuki, to discuss potential collaboration between the College of Business Education and UK academic institutions. Our discussion focused on strengthening partnership in areas of joint research, academic exchange, technology and innovation, and capacity building.

This engagement marks an important step in advancing CBE's internationals agenda and creating impactful academic and research linkages that benefit both Tanzania and UK.

Leo Mei 14,2025 Waziri wa Viwanda na Biashara, Mhe. Dkt. Selemani Jafo (Mb) amewasilisha Hotuba ya Bajeti ya Wizara ya Viwanda na Biashara bungeni jijini Dodoma.Viongozi mbalimbali wakiwemo wakuu wa Taasisi zilizopo chini ya Wizara hii walihudhuria.

Tarehe 10 Aprili 2025, Chuo cha Elimu ya Biashara( CBE) Kampasi ya Dar es Salaam ilisherekea Siku ya Jinsia ikiwa ni sehemu ya jitihada na mikakati ya kuzingatia na kuimarisha haki na usawa wa kijinsia kwa wanafunzi na watumishi hapo chuoni.

Mgeni Rasmi katika hafla hii alikuwa ni Kamishna Jenerali wa Uhamiaji(CGI),Dkt. Anna Makakala. Watumishi na wanafunzi walikuwepo kushuhudia tukio hili.

Pamoja na mambo mengine,Mgeni Rasmi alikabidhi zawadi kwa watumishi waliofanikiwa kumaliza masomo kwa mwaka huu na wengine waliokuwa na mchango kwenye dawati la jinsia.
