Go out, have fun, take time off, get a hobby, start a revolution.
Do not sacrifice your entire life to work and capitalism.
You are a datapoint, on a spreadsheet powering pretty dashboards… you don’t matter to them!!
@McFumbata@Fatzmybug14@Tshegothygoat You: we have a good standard already
Me: so what’s wrong with an extra layer
You: *shows a vid of food skirting both layers*
Also You: see!! The extra layer doesn’t work!!
Me: Nor did the first one
You: so then the extra layer is a fallacy
Me: per your logic, so is the main one.
@McFumbata@Fatzmybug14@Tshegothygoat failure to enforce ur food standards doesn’t prove extra safeguards are useless. Ur vid shows a regulatory failure, not that halal certification offers no additional protections. You’re confusing the failure to enforce existing standards with the effectiveness of additional 1s🙂
@McFumbata@Fatzmybug14@Tshegothygoat lol, this just shows me that YOUR South African food standard protection has also failed here, not just halal…
Would you like to try another anecdotal example, because this one is lazy.
@legion1530@MolebatsiTurf Kanti baya hlala sometimes, even if they leave, that’s them being respectful enough to give us our space. Andithi nabo when they go and pray, we don’t say we wanna go and kneel with them?
Point is we accommodate each other. Nalo microwave, there always more than 1 for umntu wonke
@McFumbata@Fatzmybug14@Tshegothygoat That would be fantastic… ZCC, Catholics, Jews, Seventh Day Adventist already have their own concessions, and are respected. Sangomas already have to be certified to provide alternative medical services, and their representative bodies manage that… if you wanna add food, cool.
@legion1530@MolebatsiTurf And when we pray before a meeting when they are in the room, they don’t throw you out the building. We all share spaces and accommodate each other. You have bigger problems, not a microwave, I promise you.
