Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, At times we do feel sorry for them.Unfortunately, seeing their daily dramas and their habit of targeting the Kuki-Zo community, they don't deserve any respect or sympathy. Will @Manipur_Police take action against these lunatics band?

*The Gate-Burning That Launched a Pogrom*
Two years ago, on May 3, 2023, a single politically charged act set Manipur ablaze, literally and figuratively. At 2:30 PM, Meitei radicals, reportedly affiliated with Arambai Tenggol and led by BJP Yuva Morcha President Barish Sharma, torched the Anglo-Kuki War Centenary Gate at Leisang village. The attackers, arriving in a white Bolero from Torbung-Kangvai, didn’t just target a structure, they targeted the soul of the Kuki-Zo people.
That gate stood as a proud symbol of the Kuki-Zo community’s anti-colonial resistance and historical legitimacy. Its destruction was not random, it was intentional, calculated, and deeply political. In burning the gate, the attackers sent a message: that Kuki-Zo identity, history, and presence in Manipur would no longer be tolerated by the rising tide of Meitei majoritarianism. This act was the fuse, designed to provoke retaliation and justify a violent campaign under the guise of “clashes.”
What followed was swift and brutal. As Kuki-Zo villagers rushed to save what remained, they were ambushed by Meitei mobs, aided by armed militia and state commandos. Violence erupted in Torbung and Kangvai. Homes were razed, civilians were beaten, and community leaders were attacked under the pretense of dialogue. As resistance mounted, state forces opened fire not on the aggressors, but on the Kuki-Zo people.
The burning of the Anglo-Kuki War Gate was not merely an isolated provocation it was the symbolic declaration of war. And the silence from Chief Minister N. Biren Singh was not just negligent it was complicit. Two years on, justice remains absent, and the Kuki-Zo community continues to live under siege.
The world must remember: the conflict did not begin with a clash it began with fire, with symbolism, and with a regime that weaponized history to wage war on its own citizens.

Two years have passed since the 10 #KukiZo MLAs, including 7 Kuki BJP MLAs, firmly demanded a separate administration under the Indian constitution. The BJP-led Central Government has ignored this rightful request for far too long.
Today, the Kuki community across the country once again stands united and resolute in their demand for a #UnionTerritory4KukiZo on the second anniversary of the #ManipurViolence or #SeparationDay. It is time for their voices to be heard and for action to be taken. #ManipurViolence
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and up to Moreh Town, bordering Myanmar, the Kuki-Zo community observed the second Separation Day yesterday. People from all walks of life joined this mass gathering, united in their quest for justice. On May 3, 2023, we were brutally beaten, tortured, killed, raped, and burned alive in broad daylight.
Elected MLAs, Leaders regardless of their party affiliation, shared their views in solidarity. We believe in our constitutional right to a Separate Administration in the form of a Union Territory with a Legislature. Key points to note: We have been separated from Manipur since May 3, 2023.

Manipur : The Kuki Inpi seeks accountability for ethnic violence demanding arrest, investigations against groups like COCOMI & Meitei militant outfits.
Inpi advocate for Union Territory status with legislature to address the crisis & ensure Peace & Justice for the Kuki People.
The Kuki-Zo people around the world are observing the 2nd #SeparationDay at various places in Manipur and elsewhere. The meiteis led by @NBirenSingh & @MaharajaManipur meticulously planned this ethnic cleansing. We won't rest until formal recognition of the separation is granted.
#SeparationDay from the Meiteis is a reminder to the world that jealousy can only bring misery upon the weak and innocent, to both your enemy and your people, and not peace and development. @NBirenSingh only achieved these for his people, not greatness, as he thought.

Two year since Meitei’s full scale invasion of Kuki. The horrific crimes committed are beyond words to describe. Innocent civilians were subjected to unimaginable tragedies. As we mark this day with sadness, we honour their sacrifices by renewing our commitment to Justice‼️
