@tanpukunokami I think globalists fear that without world government, humanity is doomed. They might be right, but I don’t think world government actually solves that problem.
@elonmusk I used to think it was because the West wants to be like USA. USA is multicultural, and highly successful, so “gimme some of that”. But I’ve come around to thinking “the elite want cheap, compliant labour”.
@lawfare You seem to be going down a path that most liberals don’t want to go down. You’re suggesting that people with a high rate of recidivism should be locked up for longer. I am not making a political argument… My style is to call things out and see where it goes.
You know there’s a certain logic to it. If they let white people throw traffic cones, that could lead to widespread disorder and violence that the police cannot contain. So they have to crack down on that.
Meanwhile, immigrant rape gangs have been going on for years without widespread disorder and violence, so maybe lighter sentences is OK for them.
@Public_Citizen Or maybe they are working for constituents who voted for things like that. Maybe we are having a large national disagreement, rooted in culture and social class.
@paulsperry_ A buddy, former MP, had friends at Ft Dix. Years ago he told me these stories. Men would beat their wives into hospital, and express shock when told this is illegal in USA.
@JohnLeFevre We have already seen people refusing to help when people are attacked on the subway, for fear of being prosecuted. It’s easy to see what will happen because of this prosecution. New York will get what it has earned.
@johnkonrad She thought he was dodging the question. THIS SHOWS she didn’t see where he was going with it. Which is MUCH WORSE than forgetting Woodrow Wilson’s name.
@charlesmurray I appreciated this conversation so I tried to like several of the points and counter points. I discovered that Kyle Orton blocked me. Absolutely no idea why. I think I’m a pretty nice guy.
@BritniDWrites Virginia’s Supreme Court interpreted the Virginia constitution. The US Supreme Court said they don’t overrule state supreme courts interpreting their own state constitutions.
🚨The BBC had just sunk to a new low.
On Newsnight last night, presenter Matt Chorley claimed Nigel Farage said people should respond to the murder of Henry Nowak with “white cold rage”.
Nigel DID NOT SAY THIS.
The insertion of the word “white” by the BBC is obviously designed to change the meaning completely.
It was no slip of the tongue, Chorley said it THREE TIMES.
He came prepared to defame Nigel and lie to the country.
This is disgusting from the BBC.
Why do they insist on spitting in the faces of the millions of Reform supporters who are forced to contribute to their salaries?
THE BBC MUST APOLOGISE IMMEDIATELY
@therealmissjo I have seen this in USA. Immigrant parents want to give their kids an advantage in school, so they understate their age. And then you get U12 boys shaving before a football match. 🙂
