On March 31, 2026, David Penn, owner of the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club, passed away unexpectedly. David was a supporter of Minnesota service members and their families.
We mourn the tragic loss of Sgt. First Class Nicole M. Amor of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, who was killed in a drone strike while serving in Kuwait. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and fellow service members during this unimaginable loss. https://t.co/Q4Ie2EiT5f

On September 20, 2010, Tom Brokaw keynoted the MMAF Dinner with a crowd of nearly 500 guests in attendance. Joining Mr. Brokaw were Annette Kuyper, whose son Jared served in Iraq from 2005-2007 and SSG John Kriesel, whose remarks had guests crying at times and laughing at others.
