All 3rd grade students presented their immigration projects yesterday to 2nd grade classes! They worked hard for over a month learning about immigration, researching their country, interviewing family members, and then presenting on their country. A great experience for all ๐บ๏ธ๐

When I teach poetry to the littlest humans, they come up with lines like these:
"I ask the world, 'Why did people invent money?'"
"Sometimes I am an emordle [immortal] jellyfish."
"I ask the world, 'Why is there inflatshin [inflation]?'"
"How do people get use[d] to other languages?"
We ended the week with a special visitor, @mannersroom5, to celebrate Roccoโs upcoming birthday! ๐๐ฅณ We read โBartholomew and The Oobleckโ by Dr. Seuss and did an experiment to make our own Oobleck! ๐ฆ
Today we โRocked our Socksโ to celebrate World Down Syndrome day! We even had a special guest, Mrs. Ridge, come in to read us a story about the power and beauty of celebrating our differences! ๐๐ #WorldDownDyndromeDay#RockYourSocks#WhitmanSmilesandShines
