TFC went down to a 9 wicket defeat against @DiagonalTigers . Only Matt (10) and Riley (21) made double figures as TFC could only muster 67. In reply the Tigers knocked off the runs with 6.3 overs to spare. Many thanks to our sponsors
TFC were victorious in the opening game of the Powerleague Indoor League at Horsforth School on Wednesday. MOM Saul who backed up a pacy spell with a quick fire 41 to set us up. Despite some nerves Riley and debutant Rhys got us over the line despite Oak’s best efforts
TFC conclude their outdoor season with the final game of the Thoak Cup. With the series poised at 1-1 tonight will be winner takes all. Skipper Robbie will lead his troops into battle with returning Riley, Gareth and Steve Gillies. Good luck to both teams.
Fingers crossed for good weather after last weeks abandonment and the weekend rain that we can get on the field as we take on Meanwood at Woodhouse CC on Tuesday. Good luck to all those taking part. Bring your spikes, you will need them !!
TFC fell to a 21 run defeat on Tuesday. Despite a promising start with the ball, @DiagonalTigers finished well and ended up on a challenging 152-6 off 20. Despite Kris Milner’s 26 and some late inns hitting from both Matt Lambert and Dan Gibson, the boys (and Nikki) fell short.
TFC continued their good form with a 4 wicket win over 1 in 12 tonight. Main contributors were Marc and debutant Asher who took 2 wickets, With the bat Riley hit his first 25 of the season and despite a mid inns collapse, Matt and Andy saw us home in a tense finish.
TFC get on the bus for another away trip tomorrow night with a trip to Tong to face Tong Taverners.

TFC managed to beat a 5pm rainstorm but unfortunately Sleepers proved stronger at Woodhouse on Tuesday. TFC member Matt Hallas was the difference with 30 and 2 wickets “guesting” for the oppo. Rue however managed 33 on a promising TFC debut
Unfortunately rain was the winner this week with the weather over last 24 hours meaning we can’t go on the field. Hopefully the game with Meanwood Tavs can be rearranged for later in the season
