Thread: Made a post about Gage this morning, an awesome dog at @NEHumaneSociety.
He had multiple appointments today. All passed up on him.
A gentleman messaged us on FB, saying he wanted to drive up from out of town. But he couldn't be here until later in the day.
It’s been a totally surreal 7 year run.
5 Super Bowl trips, 3 Rings, played in the Conference Championship game every single year.
Everything caught up with them this year & they just didn’t have it.
No shame in that, just is what it is.
Now we just pray Patrick is OK.
@HuskGuys I think this is right, at least based on who started the game?
15 & 16: Beathard vs Armstrong
17: Stanley vs Lee
18 & 19: Stanley vs Martinez
20: Petras vs Martinez
21: Petras vs Smothers
22: Petras (& Padilla) vs Thompson
23: Hill vs Purdy
24: Stratton vs Raiola
Indiana. Oregon. USC.
Three ranked losses by a combined 12 points and Iowa led in the fourth quarter in each of them.
Officiating was atrociously slanted against them today, but it really feels like another majorly missed opportunity. #Hawkeyes
ISU had a double-tipped pass to keep their final drive going that let to the FG. The missed FG against IU. That perfect pass by Oregon that final drive.
@analyst4sports_ Adopt a dog from an animal shelter and name them after whoever makes the coolest play for Iowa in the game. Make sure they have a duck-themed toy to tear up every day for their entire life.
Ref complaints about your team is the highest level a sports fan can achieve. It never gets better than when your team has so thoroughly dominated the sport that every missed call in your favor turns into a conspiracy theory.
