I totally missed the memo but #IGPX will be back on #Toonami next week, at 2am in the lineup! According to the official website, it will be episode 1. It'd be cool if they aired season 2 in HD after season 1, but I'm pumped to know the show will be aired again!

Today marks a big anniversary for #IGPX - the 20th anniversary of the first US broadcast on #Toonami. The 2nd episode also aired on this day 20 years ago, (November 5) and that really hooked me into the series. It was a life-changing day for me.

On October 5th, 2005, 20 years ago, the first episode of IGPX aired in Japan for the first time on TV Asahi. I made this post simply to commemorate the 20th anniversary of IGPX, and I'll be back for the anniversary for the US premiere in a month!

The "3rd Audience" is particularly interesting to me. It is basically talking about people who cannot watch or attend races, but still follow teams in the IGPX. They "enjoy communicating with others about the IGPX." This show was made before SNS was a thing, so this is cool.

A premiere for the 1st episode of #Lazarus was held a few weeks ago in Japan. One of the cast members comments how proud he is that Japan has produced such a great series, with great action and music, and he can't wait for the rest of the world to see: https://t.co/NzuCbHbKoA?...

I can see similarities in the animation between KotS and Lazarus, in both style and fluidity. There are also many great scenes and moments later on thanks to things having been built up very well in earlier episodes. Can't wait to finish it and to also start watching Lazarus!

By coincidence, I started watching a series recently that happens to have been directed by Shinichiro Watanabe: "Kids on the Slope". I was like, "That name sounds familiar..." Found out the company, MAPPA, also made #Lazarus (along with Sola). Makes me more excited for episode 1!
